    Hemp seed oil features a light, nutty taste. With the ideal ratio of essential fatty acids (3:1) of omega-6 to omega-3), hemp seed oil may be natures perfectly balanced oil.

    Hulled hemp seeds can be used raw, toasted, baked, or ground and substituted for just about any other seed used in cooking or baking.

    Hemp seed oil is best suited to low or no heat applications, such as truffle oil or for emulsifying in sauces and vinaigrettes. Smoking point of hemp seed oil is 320-330 degrees Fahrenheit or 156 degrees Centigrade. Low heat applications work well as well with careful attention paid to the flash point of the oil.
